Management teams need to make decisions every day. Many of those involve inter-personal conflict, multiple views, competing agendas and looming deadlines. We help groups manage and understand the complexities of group interaction and assist them to leverage that learning in support of strategy, planning and change.
Examples
The Arts Council
Interactions was successful in winning a public sector contract from the Arts Council of Ireland to design and manage a national consultative process to inform the next national strategy for the arts. The process was designed against a background of considerable consultation “fatigue” in the arts and cultural sector and involved over 100 meetings with in excess of 1000 participants, in geographically disparate locations throughout Ireland. The stakeholder consultation was widely considered to be a success and resulted in 100% buy in to a shared vision for the arts in Ireland.
Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council
We employed our model to design and facilitate a consultation process for Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council to inform their first strategic plan for the arts. Widely hailed as an excellent model of public consultation, the process generated an informed and supported arts strategy.
These projects were designed using the principles of Dynamic Participation and resulted in highly successful public sector consultation processes, generating high level, positive participation, excellent feedback and a genuine sense of dialogue and inquiry.
